Innovation Patterns: Reverse or Alternative use
Many of you who may have attended my innovation workshops may be familiar with this example.
Reversing the perspective or use case of a invention
So instead of using a cash till to put money in you give cashback or on the other side of a pencil you put an eraser.
In this case instead of having a camera in the back and a screen in the car for the driver to be able to view behind when reversing why not put the screen on the back of the van and the camera in the front so the overtaking driver has a clear view.
Now granted it is early days to see if this will gain widespread use and what the legal ramifications will be if their is an accident but personally I just love it.
